Michael Torbiak has been discovering new talent and working with some of the top names in film and TV at MTV, BRAVO and E! for nearly a decade, and for two years now has been casting the comedy segments on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The show casts actors on a daily basis for on camera work and voice overs. Torbiak works closely with Jimmy Kimmel Live's writers and directors to cast bits for the show's monologue and pre-taped segments. 50 percent, if not more, of the talent hired on a weekly basis is solely voice over actors. Jimmy Kimmel Live! uses Voice Overs in pre-taped comedy segments, pre-existing footage, soundalikes, as well as for graphic pieces they build in house.
