PART-1 DETAILS: INTENSIVE FOUNDATION TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP
Instructed by Kristin Price and Kerry Miller, participate in our most acclaimed 3.5-Hour Intensive Foundation Technique Workshop - via Telephone or In-Studio.

Overall objectives:
     1. explore opportunities: audiobook, narration, promo, character, commercial, etc.
            ...begin determining where/if you fit in
     2. foundation technique
            ...intensive focus on core voice over delivery
     3. voice over production
            ...from cold copy through delivery, get real experience with candid critique.

In addition:

Cut through all the misconceptions about the voice over industry and gain an understanding of this field including:
     types of work, other than just commercial
     gain realistic $ expectations, since most voice-talent do NOT make millions like others claim
     the business, and how it operates

With varied scripts and numerous reading exercises, learn and practice the basic foundation technique:
     tone, pitch, tempo, volume
     smoothness
     variety

OBJECTIVE
With an understanding of necessary vocal skills and voice over categories, begin assessing your strengths and weaknesses, and determining which categories of voice over may be lucrative for you. There is a LOT of reading time. Your instructor will offer straightforward direction and suggestions throughout the workshop.

PART-2 DETAILS: PRIVATE ASSESSMENT & PLACEMENT
With the techniques and ideas learned in part-1 (the Intensive Foundation Technique Workshop), complete your Evaluation Placement Program with a One Hour Private Training & Assessment Session - via Telephone or In-Studio.

Work one-on-one with one of our casting/directing producers, in front of the microphone, or via-telephone, applying techniques learned during your previous workshop.

Your session ends with ample time to ask questions, discuss your most marketable niches, competitiveness, potential, create a plan of action, and receive direction and guidance.

If you don't show potential, (remember, we are known for being honest), receive straightforward advice on why... and what course of action you may be able to take to gain potential, eg. accent reduction, reading exercises, or simple practice.

A brief mix of part 1 and of part 2. Cover some basic technique, as well as a brief understanding of the industry, and work one-on-one with one of our casting/directing producers for 50-minutes, in front of the microphone, on scripts. Review your potential, possible marketable niches, and best next step.
