St. Patrick's Day E-Learning Module
Pretend that you are contacted about auditioning for a primary education E-Learning project. The casting director emails you: "We heard your narration demo, and while you don't demonstrate children's educational styles on it, we really like your voice and delivery and would like to hear if you can adjust them for an early educational video, for ages 5 through 7. The tone should be friendly and upbeat, yet but informative and educational as well. We want a fun Irish accent on the opening sentence, but not after that. Please slate your name, date, and "St. Patrick's Day E-Learning script." Thanks!"
Top 'o the morning!
On St. Patrick's Day, Irish people think about Ireland. They sing songs, eat special foods, and celebrate their Irish heritage!
And because Ireland is often called the Emerald Isle, many people wear green on St. Patrick's Day. Are you wearing green?
St. Patty's Day is such a festive holiday, everyone celebrates! Some towns even have parades and eat special foods like Hot Cross Buns, Irish Soda Bread, and Corned Beef and Cabbage!
Remember to check Archived Contests next Friday to learn who won, with explanations of why they won and why others didn’t, and hear some examples of each.
