Hi Bruce,
I want to thank you for the great demo eval session we did on Thursday. I think we really fixed up my demos. I'm REALLY happy with the new commercial demo. Rather than the original 2:11 length, it's down to 56 seconds! I'm really proud of this cut, as the opening notes of music blend right into the music under the VO (I used to do this stuff with tape back in my radio days!). What really makes the commercial demo work now, I think, is that the listener (myself included) is no longer thinking, "OK, I've heard this, now when's the next clip?" It's much tighter and seems to flow better.
Thanks again for your time and advice, Bruce. It was nice talking to you. I enjoyed the session and got a lot out of it.

Just a brief note to say thank you for my demo evaluation. I questioned the wisdom of my decision to send my money to NYC for someone's opinion about my demo which was already getting jobs. My wife was even more skeptical, since the facility I worked for just closed eliminating all jobs, including mine.
At the end of my half hour with you, I had confidence in my ability and a specific plan on how to dramatically improve my results. Every bit of your commentary made perfect sense once I heard it. You have an awesome ear, to say the least! Your experience shows. I felt you gave me a very honest appraisal without being critical. Some of the ideas you gave me eliminated expenditures I would have foolishly made had I not spoken with you. I am excited about the possibilities.
