Tele-Training and In-Studio VOICE OVER TRAINING and DEMO

PHASE 2: TRAINING & DEMO
Your most competitive voice over genres were assessed in phase 1 (the Evaluation Placement Program).
...Now it's time to make it happen:

Part 1: Voice Over Private Training

Your goals will dictate the directions of these private, one-hour long sessions, and what techniques and vocal training your producer employs to get you up to speed.

And because these sessions are private, take the opportunity to experiment with new styles and new techniques, without any pressure. Learn it in front of us… not someone who hires you.

Session notes are kept, and a clear "update" is given to you every session’s conclusion. Oh, sometimes homework too. Approximately 3,000 practice scripts are included.

Part 2: Audition Training Workshops
Fabulous training, and included in most packages. Choose the one(s) best for you:

     ACT-UP! - technique training
The Ringer - blunt audition training

When are these best? Towards the end of your private training sessions, yet before your demo.

Part 3: Demo Preparation
A fabulous voice alone won't cut it. Preparation can make an enormous difference in the marketability of your voice over demo. And determining the most marketable material for you is the objective of this one-hour long session.

Part 4: Demo Recording
"Intense and Marketable." Comments like this get you noticed. And that is a major reason why voice over demos produced and recorded at Edge Studio get people work.

Demo recording sessions are scheduled extra long, so there is no reason to rush or feel pressured. We:
review material and make any last minute changes

ensure you are comfortable in front of the microphone
record and re-record...as many takes as necessary with serious direction. Need we say more?

Music, sound effects, editing, MP3, and CD are included.

NEXT AND FINAL STEP: PHASE 3: GET VOICE OVER WORK PACKAGES!

DETAILS (the Fine Print section is below)

     PRACTICE SCRIPTS
You'll have unlimited access to categorized scripts using a special web-address we give you.
Save the special web-address as scripts are continually updated.

     ISDN/PHONE-PATCH PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS
These private training sessions are 1-hour. They are EXACTLY like regular training sessions except they occur via telephone. (You use your regular, standard telephone.) This prepares you for recording sessions where the producer produces via telephone (which occurs in an estimated 30% of productions).

     PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS
Private training sessions are 1-hour. These are offered via telephone and in-studio.

     DEMO PREPARATION
Demo preparation sessions are 1-hour. During this session, scripts are reviewed for as many demos as you are producing. This is offered via telephone and in-studio.

     DEMO PRODUCTION
Demo Production includes everything you need: production, editing, mixing, music, sound effects, digital studio archive, master CD, MP3, studio time, and of course...a fun and educational time. It generally takes up to 1.5 hours to record your voice. Afterwards, we spend numerous hours completing your demo.

     AUDITION TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Choose from any of Edge Studio's ACT-Up! or Ringer classes. Read details. See current schedule. These include:

          > ACT-UP! - TECHNIQUE WORKSHOPS

Intense training: Up to 2-hour long workshops, each focusing on varied topics (eg: documentary, audition, dialogue, etc.).

          > THE RINGER - CASTING AGENT FRANKNESS
Audition training: Up to 2-hour long workshops, each with a different casting agent, whose job is to candidly move you through an audition experience...and evaluate IF you would have received the part or not, and why.

THE FINE PRINT: payment plans, terms, cancellations, etc.

SUBSTITUTIONS
While you can add additional items (private training sessions, workshops, seminars, etc.) onto your package, you can not substitute items included in your package. In other words, if your package includes a demo, you can not use that money towards an extra training session instead.
