Tonight, Hillary Clinton. She’s got strong views on raising children. What about her own image? Hillary Clinton on 20/20 this Friday.
Martha Stewart. Love her? Hate her? Either way you’ll finally hear from her. Martha Stewart in her only interview speaks exclusively to Barbara Walters. Tonight on 20/20. 10 PM / 9 central.
I see where you're going with the 'her' parts but I would punch up Love and Hate and a little less on 'her'. Also it sounds like your taking a breath between Martha and Stewart. Say her name in one breath and you've got it. Love your voice, very distinctive!
They can attack him. They can judge him. But they can never break him. The nation is under seige, and now Jack Bauer is on his own. The season premier of 24 begins now. Viewer discretion is advised.
You have such a great voice-- trust it more and don't feel that you have to force it as much. Watch that you don't swallow or slur any words like the word "of" in "the season premiere of 24". These tiny adjustments will really help you to nail and perfect these takes!
Oh, yea. Very pro. Would work almost anywhere. I just don't have the criticism. I don't think it sounded forced. I think it sounded 'tense' which is what you'd want for this piece. 9.8 out of 10 I'd say.

April’s jammin’ and ABC’s got the stuff…with “special” episodes of all your favorite series. Like Coach, Roseanne, and Home Improvement. Plus a great line up of all your favorite blockbuster movies. All right here on ABC.
Every airline has a story. Airline Premiers Monday. Only on A&E.
They’re kids committing awful crimes...Are they homicidal monsters...Or are they abused minors. Do they need us to get tough, or get treatment? American Justice, Wednesday on Channel 12.
wow, I really like your voice. You remind me of the guy who narrates the forensic files! "...get tough, or get treatment?" Treatment sounds like a fact instead of a question but that's just my opinion. I enjoyed it and I can definitely imagine your voice aired on tv. Good luck!
Don't force your voice. Sounds tense. Too authoritative for me.
I think you pace on this is perfect - kind of the Goldilocks of speed. The tone is right on also. You didn't go overly dramatic, which is easy with this copy, yet it sure isn't just "casual" either. Good job.
Be it endless fascination with the Bible, or chilling tales of Gothic horror, man has been compelled by the wonders of the unknown since the beginning of time. From the possible existence of Big Foot to the grips of a mummy’s curse. Uncover the truth behind “Ancient Mysteries” tonight on Channel 4...NBC.
You got a great voice, but you try too hard. Just lower your pitch and lose the tension. Then you can put your effort into enjoying the words, rather than worrying about trying to sound good.
this copy paints so many interesting pictures that i think you can find more variety in your read. what/how do you feel about the bible or gothic horror? what do you see when you think/say "grips of a mummy's curse" ? your voice has the 'feel' for this
Nice job. Your delivery was very classic trailer in style and it worked great for this script. Frankly I was surprised it did as I thought that might be a little to much, but you picked a read that worked to my ear. Guess you taught me.
Like your voice. I like what 800 voice said just relax a bit more, go for more of a relaxed delivery..
Good Job, Love the voice. Sounds intense. Nice delivery
Secrets of the Dead "Amazon Warrior Women" [pbs documentary preview / promo] (read the first part like it is part of the documentary? or the more-promo bit at the end?) Stories of beautiful, bloodthirsty female warrior women thundering across arid battlefields have been told, re-told and speculated about for thousands of years. Greek myths are filled with tales of the Amazons and their exploits. Amazon warriors fought and died in the Trojan War. Homer and Hippocrates speculated over or wrote of these fierce fighting women. Herodotus believed they may have occupied the sweeping steppes of Southern Russia. But are they real or myth? SECRETS OF THE DEAD "Amazon Warrior Women," airing on PBS Wednesday, August 4, 2004, investigates whether any of these long-dead women actually are the mythical Amazons of Greek legend. Investigators follow a trail of artifacts to the remotest region of modern Russia to find out if forensic experts can use DNA to locate the descendants of these famous - and infamous - warrior women.

Tomorrow at 8 Animal Planet brings 12 animal experts through the most grueling job interview on the planet to see if they have the knowledge, the courage, and onscreen personality to win a killer prize: their own television show. Jeff Corwin hosts, King of the Jungle: The Rumble Continues. Tomorrow at 8, only on Animal Planet.
Cool music! Delivery was good overall, your voice is totally appropriate for this kind of stuff. I noticed that there was a warble to the audio, somewhat like what you would hear in a very low bitrate mp3, compression issues perhaps? It made the v/o a little distant - sounding. You changed a word in the second to last sentence (I liked the change and the way you hit the word) but you always want to check with the client if you are in a session or recording an audition. Towards the end your pauses started getting a little elongated. Nice work though!
To me, this was way too dramatic. Animal Planet is geared towards families/kids so, in my opinion, the read should be more fun and upbeat. I also agree with voice347 on the pauses. With some exceptions, you should really only pause where there's punctuation. Having said all that, I thought the production was good and your voice quality is really good. Keep it up!
I liked how you emphasized "grueling" and the pause between "planet" and "to see" was small and felt natural. Well done!
Perfect. You avoided going dark - which I believe is the right thing to do with this script, yet didn't get goofy. I couldn't pick up a flaw in your diction or delivery - totally pro. Did the job of focusing on the show, not the delivery of the spot - I'd actually watch the thing if I heard this.

There was a time when the world asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg present, Band of Brothers.
Step away from the gravel! :)
Nice delivery, love the voice. Excellent!
A few suggestions: slow down the first few words of the script (they're a bit rushed), delete breaths (makes for a more pro sound), pronounce the "t" in "Steven" (it was missed), and watch your sibilance. These things will enhance your big, classic tone you are going for. You have a great voice-- don’t push it so much - you'll sound even better that way!
Wow, you make my headphones shake.... Excellent chops, sir.
Nice all around. My notes are the same as Noelle's- take her advice and post another crack at it. It's so so close to absolute awesomeness!

In the first sentence, you said 'share' instead of "..shared..". It's a small mistake, you have a good voice. You didn't slurr any words, your articulation is good. Good job!
I think this spot wants a more dramatic tone - as you are talking about James Bond. Your tone makes it seem like a promo for a comedy sitcom. Still good job.

You added the word 'the' right before 'Cartoon Network' in the phrase "Next on Cartoon Network..". In my opinion, I think you should slow down on the cartoon network part and emphasize that the show is on 'Cartoon Network'. Other than that, your pronounciation was great. Good job!
I agree with wanna-be.voiceactress. I also think you need more excitement to this - it sounded a bit lackluster.

Or let you watch hundreds of free movies whenever you want. Yes, this is a channel like no other. This is your On Demand channel from Comcast Digital Cable. And maybe you don’t need it. Connect your sounds together more to eliminate choppiness, especially on the phrases "have you listened lately" and "turn it on". You have a great voice-- let more personality and opinion come through to really bring the piece to life.
Great voice... got a bit of a southern drawl to it in places.Too "pretty" or crisp for the script, IMO, like your over enunciating? Lacks conviction - I don't believe you listen to that station yourself.

Nice work! You have the voice for this kind of copy, no doubt about it. I think this have been sped up just a tad, and the delivery could have been a touch more high energy. Sports/entertainment copy can be a little more over the top. You definitely got stronger towards the end.
Wow, You have a terrific voice for this high energy stuff. Sounds totally professional. Nice job keeping it fast without a hint of seeming like you were rushing. The opening line was just dramatic enough to really get anyone's attention.

I like how you elongated 'DVD'. Once again, I don't know what to critique. Good job!
I do like your raspy voice.. it has a wonderful quality. I would love to hear you do a more wry humor movie intro ala "the twilight zone" tongue in cheek so to speak.
I'm just gonna throw this out there....while you clearly can pull off the trailer style delivery (I've listened to all of your submissions), I'm curious to hear what your natural, unaffected voice sounds like (I'm guessing this isn't what you sound like when speaking normally). Keep this in mind...commercials, trailers and promos combine to make up just 8% of the voicework out there. The other 92% fall into the narration category, which usually requires a more natural, unaffected style of delivery. If you're looking to do VO full or part-time, and want to have a steady influx of work, you should really consider developing your natural delivery as well.
VERY NICE- perfect tone and read. Sorry I can't offer any advice but I honestly can't think of any. I bet if I look in a mirror I'm green right now.
You're perfect for trailer/promo work! While it's hard to find anything wrong you may want to vary the pitch more. Great job!

It sounds like you've got a good voice. The overall recording quality is lacking, though, so it's kind of tough to hear everything. Your delivery gets a bit sloppy towards the end. "Want to" became "wanna" and "NewsChannel 4" was slurred. Little things like that sound minor, but they can really make the difference between getting hired and not.

I really liked it. Nice pacing for high Energy but not over the top. For some reason the voice track volume was a little low so the music overpowered it some. Good editing and choice with the music though. You matched the drama in the music to the right places in the script very well.

wow, I don't even know what to critique. You have a great voice!
Yeah, like she said, great voice. Maybe just a little shorter on the later pauses - (yeah I know, big deal, if the client wants them shorter the producer will simply cut your take), but it is all I can think of that might make it even better. Really nice.
Great voice! Watch out for the W's in "WWF" though. They came out as "dubba-you" instead of "double-you". That's a tough one to get used to, so you may need to practice it a bunch of times.

I agree with the above remark. Don't be afraid to go farther and bigger with your emotion while still maintaining the professionalism that 20/20 requires.
