Dave Courvoisier is a voice actor, blogger, TV news anchor, renaissance man, perspicacious, itinerant prospector of social media, father and husband.

For the last 30 years, Dave has risen in the ranks of local TV, earning Emmy’s for various aspects of reporting, producing, and anchoring. He currently anchors the 5, 6, and 11 o’clock weekday newscasts at the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, NV: KLAS-TV. Dave is a graduate of the prestigious Poynter Institute’s curriculum on “Digital Media Strategies for Today’s Newsroom Managers.”

For the better part of the last 10 years Dave has also applied himself to the challenges of a career in voice acting. Early on, Dave chose Social Networks as his primary means of marketing his VO business. That commitment has also led to a new career vector helping others lean the ins and outs of New Media.

Dave was a keynote speaker at VOICE2010 on “Making Social Media Work for your VO Business; and is scheduled again in 2012 to speak on “Social Media Secrets”. Dave has also led similar discussions at VO’s “unconference” – FaffCon -- in 2010 and 2011. In addition, Dave has held numerous webinars and teleconferences on the subject of Social Media on VoiceOverXtra, The Voice Acting Academy, and the VoiceOverDirectory.

Dave was recently named the most influential VO blogger of 2011, and is the webauthor of SocialMediaVO.com, and VOAToday.com, as well as the administrator for numerous LinkedIn, FaceBook, and Twitter groups aggregating voice actors into online communities.

Dave is also the marketing director for E-Learningvoices.com, and serves as the Executive Vice President for World-Voices Organization, an Industry Trade Association.
